PTSD is developed for a variety of reasons. It doesn’t have anything to do with how mentally tough or weak you are. It has everything to do with how our brains deal with past traumatic events. Our brain attempts to shield us from the trauma we have experienced, sometimes to our own detriment. Join us for an event and discussion on what PTSD looks like through the eyes of a police officer/attorney who is battling with PTSD, and is winning. Come see how it affects us, how it affects those we are close to, and how we can repair ourselves and our relationships.
